NZMPIC CONFERENCE 2025
The annual NZMPIC Conference is an invite only film industry event that showcases up-coming film releases, whilst providing important networking opportunities for film distributors, cinema exhibitors, filmmakers and industry suppliers. NZMPIC is the biggest event in the film industry calendar.

VENUE
The venue for the NZMPIC Conference 2025 is Hoyts Sylvia Park, 286 Mount Wellington Highway, Auckland 1060.

The 2025 conference will take place from Tuesday, 22 July – Wednesday, 23 July 2025.

You will need a code to buy tickets, if you don’t have this you will need to register first here
TRANSPORT
It is recommended that, wherever possible, you take advantage of using public transport to get to Sylvia Park. Please check the AT Journey Planner for the best train or bus route for your journey.
PARKING
If you do drive and need parking, you will be asked for your car registration when buying tickets. Guests driving must have their number plate registered with the NZMPIC team during the registration process. Once registered, on the 22 & 23 July, you will be able to park in any of the 11 Sylvia Park car parks outlined here: https://www.sylviapark.com/visit/parking
Please ensure the NZMPIC team has the license plate for the car you are driving on the day, so we can ensure that your car is correctly validated. If you are driving a rental car on the day, please supply the number plate to the NZMPIC team when picking up your lanyard on entry.
ACCOMMODATION
The closest accommodation is Waipuna Hotel. No special rates have been agreed. There are a number of other hotel options in commutable distance.
SCHEDULE
The schedule for the event is still being finalised, however you should aim to arrive from 9am on Tuesday, 22 July. There will be a Tuesday night cocktail function, this is included with your conference ticket. The conference is due to finish at approximately 6:45pm on Wednesday 23 July.
PHONE CLOAKING
As per our usual screening guidelines, some of the content shown will require that attendees secure their phones in NZMPDA phone-cloaking pouches, staff will be on hand to manage this process, while you will remain possession of your phone, it will require your phones to be turned off and you will be unable to use them during these periods.
